About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Technical Account Manager to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). As a Cloud Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for providing consultative architectural and operational guidance to our customers, helping them achieve the greatest value from AWS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored engagements to customers, including Strategic Business Reviews, Security Improvement Programs, and Well-Architected reviews.
  • Consult on architecture, governance, security, and operations, including cost management and other pillars of building on AWS.
  • Develop close relationships with customers to understand their business and technical challenges, and provide strategic technical guidance to help them achieve their goals.
  • Travel 10% or more as needed to meet with customers and provide support.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, or related discipline, and 2+ years of equivalent work experience or 4+ years of related work experience.
  • 2+ years of technical engineering experience.
  • Experience in Information Technology operations.
  • Understanding of the AWS Well-Architected Framework pillars and ability to properly apply them to existing or new customer architecture, implementations, and/or solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Internal enterprise or external customer-facing experience as a technical lead.
  • Professional oral and written communication skills, presenting to an audience containing one or more executive team member(s).
  • Experience in a 24x7 operational services or support environment.
  • Experience with AWS services and/or other cloud offerings.
