Job Overview

As a Technical Product Steward, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products, while supporting customers with technical expertise. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Driving quality and customer satisfaction by addressing customer quality concerns, conducting investigations, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Overseeing terminal quality operations, including the evaluation and qualification of new terminals and transloading facilities.
  • Supporting new product development, from initial request through setup and launch, ensuring all products meet rigorous quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Leading international trade compliance, ensuring compliance with Free Trade Agreements and managing the annual provision of compliance statements.
  • Managing regulatory compliance and providing technical support, staying on top of regulatory changes and managing compliance with evolving standards.
  • Collaborating across teams for continuous improvement, partnering with product managers, sales, supply chain, and customer service teams to align on quality and compliance objectives.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in trade compliance within the chemical industry.
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of Free Trade Agreements, import/export regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent analytical skills and the ability to manage complex projects independently.
  • Outstanding communication and teamwork skills, with strong verbal and written communication skills and a proven ability to engage and influence a range of stakeholders.
