Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Datacenter Operations Specialist to join our team at Tundra Technical Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our datacenter infrastructure, ensuring maximum availability and scalability of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and optimize datacenter infrastructure to ensure maximum availability and scalability of services
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of datacenter management strategies
  • Ensure inventory monitoring and capacity planning of installations are up to date
  • Guarantee the production launch of new scopes or infrastructure developments
  • Manage urbanization or computer room upgrade projects
  • Ensure operational management of accommodation and local service contracts
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to improve service levels
  • Monitor compliance with internal control rules, HSE regulations, and DEEE directives
  • Identify and recommend adequate support cycles for main environmental solutions
  • Ensure all incidents, service requests, and change management processes are followed and communicated within target to satisfy SLA and departmental requirements
  • Develop and test redundancy/recovery plans to ensure service availability
  • Participate in long-term planning for local USA HQ and affiliates, and preventive maintenance
  • Interact with other technical domains, including Security and Architects, and participate in crisis cells during major incidents
  • Pilot services contractors to produce deliverables, deploy technical solutions, and ensure smooth handover to production team
  • Technical relay at headquarters and affiliates offices to deploy/ support telecom solutions
  • Ensure availability and regular updates of environmental tools and applications
Requirements
  • College degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5-10 years of experience in network design and installation, with datacenter management a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of network and telecommunication infrastructures and solutions
  • ITIL certified, asco certified
  • Customer service oriented, excellent written and verbal communications skills, ability to multi-task, work well with others
