Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Hospitality Intern. This role will provide opportunities to develop skills in food and beverage management, customer service, and leadership development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the supervision and execution of daily operations in food and beverage outlets
  • Contribute to the completion of physical inventories, profit and loss statement creation, and other financial metrics
  • Reinforce employee training programs and ensure adherence to hospitality standards
  • Monitor daily operations to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met
  • Maintain food production levels based on projected business and weather
  • Ensure strict adherence to Child Labor Laws and report any potential violations
  • Assist in the supervision and execution of daily operations at Hersheypark, GIANT Center, and Hersheypark Stadium
  • Monitor inventory levels and purchase stock as necessary
  • Participate in bar menu creation and recipe development for venues and special events
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License
  • Must be actively enrolled in a College/University and Majoring/Minoring in Hospitality & Tourism, Food & Beverage, Travel & Tourism, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Proven leadership skills with an understanding of conflict resolution and problem solving
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively
  • Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
  • Keyboarding skills and computer literacy
Working Conditions
  • Transportation is not provided for this program
  • This position will include driving company vehicles and/or golf carts
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on operational needs
