    • Work closely with the Store Manager to manage staff performance and address any issues that may arise.
  • Operations
    • Ensure that all store operations are running smoothly, including cash handling, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
    • Conduct regular spot checks to ensure that displays are clean and current, and that the selling floor is maintained and organized.
    • Manage the daily activity of the sales floor, backroom, and cash register area according to company policy.
  • Loss Prevention
    • Stay vigilant and proactive in preventing loss and ensuring the security of company assets.
  • Knowledge and Skills
    • Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong product knowledge and understanding of company history, corporate structure, and target market.
    • Knowledge of the competition and their prices.
    • Strong knowledge of POS systems.
  • Essential Physical Requirements
    • Ability to work varied days/hours.
    • Ability to climb ladders.
    • Ability to occasionally push, pull, and lift more than 25 lbs.
    Requirements
    • High school or equivalent.
    • One or more years of store management experience in a retail environment.
