Job Overview

Infinity Natural Resources is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Human Resources Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support across various aspects of the employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Benefits Administration: Oversee and manage the administration of employee benefits, leave of absence, and accommodation programs, along with managing worker's compensation and unemployment claims, and handling employment verifications.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Collaborate with vendors to resolve any benefits-related issues.
  • Payroll Management: Manage and process employee payroll ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, accurate record-keeping, and resolving payroll discrepancies.
  • Onboarding and Exit Processes: Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding, new-hire orientations, and exit interviews, including data entry in human resources information systems (HRIS) and audits for accuracy and compliance.
  • Recruitment Support: Support the recruitment process end to end, from creating job postings and reviewing applications to scheduling interviews, conducting background and reference checks, and extending offers.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • HR Projects and Initiatives: Participate in HR projects and initiatives, such as performance management, employee engagement, and training and development.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Certifications: SHRM or HRCI certification desirable but not required.
  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in a hands-on HR role.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software. Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local employment-related laws and regulations. Experience with payroll administration preferred.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees, contractors, vendors, and key stakeholders.
