Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified candidate to fulfill the role of Bookkeeper within the Federal Projects department.

Qualifications: The ideal applicant should possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent (GED), with a preference for candidates holding a post-secondary degree in finance.

Experience: A minimum of three years of experience in accounting is required, along with completed coursework in accounting, preferably at the college level. A solid grasp of generally accepted accounting principles is essential.

Skills: Candidates must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and have a proficient understanding of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Strong analytical skills for compiling and interpreting data from various sources are necessary, as well as excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Attention to detail is crucial.

Responsibilities: The primary responsibilities of this position include bookkeeping, inventory management, scheduling, and performing secretarial duties within the Federal Projects department.

Employment Details: This is a full-time, 12-month position that offers benefits including insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. Compensation will be based on verified, relevant work experience and will align with Grade 10.1 of the Hourly Classified salary schedule, with a starting pay rate of no less than $21.64 per hour.
