As a Respiratory Therapist (RT), you will play a crucial role in advancing modern healthcare by utilizing your expertise, experience, and dedication to compassionate patient care. The contributions you make within our mission-driven culture foster excellence and professional satisfaction, all rooted in the principle of humankindness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer respiratory treatments under physician supervision across various patient settings.
- Conduct patient evaluations, develop care plans, and adjust therapy strategies as necessary.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care delivery and achieve desired patient outcomes.
- Apply knowledge of patient demographics and cultural backgrounds in delivering care.
- Support the organization’s vision and mission while implementing performance improvement strategies to enhance patient care.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following:
- Preferred: 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy.
- Preferred: Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR).
- Required: High School Diploma.
- Preferred: Associate's Degree.
- Required: Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program (e.g., CoARC, JRCRTE, or CAAHEP).
- Required: Current state Licensure (RLT) in the state of employment and CRT certification by NBRC.
- Required: BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Required: ACLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire or within 6 months.
- Required: NRP and PALS certifications upon hire or within 6 months.
Physical Requirements: Medium Work - Ability to exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly.
