As a Respiratory Therapist (RT), you will play a crucial role in advancing modern healthcare by utilizing your expertise, experience, and dedication to compassionate patient care. Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer respiratory treatments under physician supervision across various patient settings.
  • Conduct patient evaluations, develop care plans, and adjust therapy strategies as necessary.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal care delivery and achieve desired patient outcomes.
  • Apply knowledge of patient demographics and cultural backgrounds in delivering care.
  • Support the organization’s vision and mission while implementing performance improvement strategies to enhance patient care.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following:

  • Preferred: 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Required: High School Diploma.
  • Preferred: Associate's Degree.
  • Required: Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program (e.g., CoARC, JRCRTE, or CAAHEP).
  • Required: Current state Licensure (RLT) in the state of employment and CRT certification by NBRC.
  • Required: BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Required: ACLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire or within 6 months.
  • Required: NRP and PALS certifications upon hire or within 6 months.

Physical Requirements: Medium Work - Ability to exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly.
