Job Title: Water System Operator

Are you passionate about ensuring the safe and efficient operation of water systems? Do you have a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems? We are seeking a highly skilled Water System Operator to join our team at Kleinfelder.

Job Summary:

The Water System Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining water treatment plants, distribution systems, and other related facilities. This includes monitoring and controlling treatment processes, performing routine maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting equipment issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain water treatment plants, including pumps, motors, and other equipment.
  • Monitor and control treatment processes, including chemical dosing and pH adjustments.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and inspecting equipment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform repairs as needed.
  • Collect and analyze water samples to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Log plant operation details and prepare reports as required.
Requirements:
  • Minimum OEPA Class A certification in both water and wastewater.
  • Strong background in mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
