Job Summary/Overview
The Compliance Specialist will be responsible for creating new customer accounts and maintaining customer information to ensure we are meeting customer expectations. This position will also be responsible for processing credits and returns. They will interact with customers, sales representatives, customer service representatives, and other internal departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter customer master data into all enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Review customer master data regularly to check for consistency and accuracy.
- Interface with plant personnel, customer service, sales, and credit department on credit & return requests.
- Enter customer service complaints into ERP system to define the situation and ensure details are documented.
- Handle incoming requests for access to our customer portal and compass.
- Follow established procedures, examine, and verify documents for audit purposes.
- Follow established procedures for returns, credits, and warranties.
- Learn the organization's products, services, and policies through various training programs.
- Meet target key performance indicators to process customer data and credit turnaround times.
- Monitor email inboxes and ensure all inquiries are responded to within expected timeline.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Associate's degree from two-year college or technical school preferred
- 1-2+ years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Compensation
$17.00/HR - $21.00/HR + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in incentive plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
