Job Title: AVP of Real Estate Finance

We are seeking an experienced AVP of Real Estate Finance to join our team at iSearch, LLC. As a key member of our Real Estate Finance and Analytics team, you will be responsible for evaluating, analyzing, and summarizing portfolio investment valuation results for our fund.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the day-to-day management of the team, including deliverable tracking, valuation model reviews, and presentation to senior leaders.
  • Manage the creation and development of presentation materials to effectively communicate results within the Real Estate team.
  • Present valuation results to various internal committees, external auditors, and limited partners.
  • Work closely with RE Portfolio Management and Asset Management to provide inputs and other portfolio investment information to aid in the completion of planning deliverables.
  • Maintain relationships with core constituencies, including deal professionals, Institutional Client Services, Portfolio Management, Accounting, and Operations.
  • Drive enhancements and improvements to the group's valuations and reporting processes, procedures, offshore resources, and use of technology.
  • Assist in the on-going training and development of analysts and associates.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or similar discipline (CFA and/or CPA a plus).
  • 7+ years of experience in valuations, transaction services, a private equity fund, consulting, or other relevant analytical roles.
  • Proven ability to work in a dynamic environment that requires execution of recurring deliverables as well as projects and initiatives in support of a rapidly growing business.
  • Thorough understanding of ASC 820 and corresponding valuation guidance. Familiarity with a wide range of valuation approaches (e.g. Income, Market, Yield Analysis, etc.).
  • Strong interpersonal skills, high EQ, and the ability to confidently and competently handle interactions with deal professionals, Asset Management, and portfolio company representatives.
  • A self-motivated individual with strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Confidence presenting to large groups of senior leaders (e.g. Firmwide Valuation Committee, Board of Directors).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint is required.
  • Proficiency in iLevel a plus.
  • Experience managing a team of at least 3 individuals a plus.
