Position Summary:
- As an Equipment Fault Specialist at U.S. Marine Management, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational readiness of our fleet. Your expertise will contribute to supporting various military and humanitarian operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of Fault Repair Technicians to maintain safety and performance standards.
- Conduct hands-on troubleshooting and repair tasks involving electrical systems, engines, and mechanical components.
- Manage subcontractor maintenance activities for Army watercraft and equipment.
- Regularly update the Maintenance Supervisor on progress and recommend corrective measures as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with repair timelines, budget constraints, and documentation requirements.
- Utilize GCSS-Army for maintenance data entry and fault repair management.
- Facilitate parts procurement through GCSS-Army and local suppliers.
- Support additional responsibilities and certifications related to operations.
- Act as Chief Engineer during operational trials and maintain accurate Engine Logbook records.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Army watercraft maintenance, with relevant licenses preferred.
- Familiarity with maintenance management systems such as NS5 and SAMM.
- Knowledge of the GCSS-Army database and internal maintenance processes.
Preferred Skills:
- Competence in MS Office Suite and document management software.
- Excellent communication abilities and flexibility in adapting to various situations.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and certification requirements.
- Capability to obtain security clearance from the Defense Security Service.
