Job Summary:

AEG is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Content and Creative Director to lead the development and implementation of our content strategy across various digital and outbound platforms. This role will oversee the departments of creative, video, and photography, and will be responsible for managing production schedules, communicating comprehensive plans to stakeholders, and facilitating ideation sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with AEG's business objectives
  • Manage production schedules and ensure timely delivery of high-quality content
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of content plans
  • Facilitate ideation sessions to generate new and innovative content ideas
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to advance AEG's long-term strategic approaches to content creation and delivery
  • Develop and manage budgets for content production and post-production workflows
  • Collaborate with MLB partners to stay up-to-date on content initiatives and protocols
  • Oversee content contract labor bid processes and ensure content needs are met

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent level of experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of professional work experience in sports/entertainment preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, team orientation, and ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Knowledge and expertise with digital content platforms, creative platforms, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience in content production and post-production workflows
  • Proficient in existing social platforms and emerging social channels
  • Experience in the curation, measurement, and development of original content
  • Experience managing a team and developing talent
  • Ability to lead and collaborate on projects with multiple departments
  • Experience in managing a budget and building strategic business plans

Work Environment:

This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. The noise level is usually moderate but can be loud within the stadium environment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and focused vision. Ability to lift approximately 40lbs.
