Job Overview:


The Chief of Infrastructure and Waste Management is tasked with the comprehensive oversight and administration of the planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of municipal infrastructure and facilities, alongside solid waste management services.

This position is crucial for ensuring the effective provision of vital services such as roadway maintenance, waste disposal management, and the maintenance of public facilities.

The Chief will also be responsible for budget management, financial reporting, data oversight, ensuring adherence to regulations, facilitating interdepartmental collaboration, and addressing community needs and concerns related to public works, thereby contributing to the overall improvement of the community's physical environment and infrastructure.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


Demonstrated capability to develop and implement contemporary office procedures, managing and coordinating multiple tasks simultaneously amidst frequent interruptions.

Knowledge and experience in managing and ensuring compliance with occupational safety and health standards.


Strong organizational skills, with the capacity to prioritize and manage workloads efficiently.


Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.


Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree is preferred.

Certifications relevant to MUDTC.

A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Willingness to occasionally work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
