Pet Groomer

This role involves providing exceptional pet grooming services to dogs, utilizing knowledge of canine characteristics and grooming techniques.

• Deliver outstanding customer satisfaction
• Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
• Assist in generating business through phone calls, scheduling, and follow-up
• Book appointments and greet pets
• Report accidents and injuries to the Store Manager
• Follow grooming procedures and maintain customer forms
• Adhere to customer instructions and clip dog hair according to determined patterns
• Comb and shape dogs' coats
• Talk to animals to keep them calm
• Complete and maintain customer and company forms
• Observe safety rules and procedures
• Sweep, vacuum, and clean cages and equipment
• Assist in store operations as needed

• Minimum 1-year experience grooming/styling pets
• Comfortable working with dogs and cats
• Ability to read, write, and count accurately
• Operate grooming tools and equipment
• Communicate effectively with customers
• Display compassion with animals
• Exhibit attention to detail
• Lift and carry pets weighing 0-50 pounds
• Work varied hours, days, nights, and weekends
• Stand and walk for long periods
• Safely work around pets and pets' waste

This position requires a non-sedentary work environment and the ability to operate all equipment related to the job duties effectively, safely, and accurately.
