Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Communications Specialist/Tech Writer to join our team at Leidos National Security Sector. As a key member of our Intelligence Community program, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission to defend against evolving threats.

About the Role

This journeyman position requires a strong background in technical editing, writing, and communication. The successful candidate will lead the development, preparation, production, coordination, and editing of various products, including finished intelligence products, strategy documents, talking points, and speeches.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead communication support by developing, preparing, producing, coordinating, and editing a range of products
  • Prepare assignments based on input from subject matter experts
  • Mentor and train junior staff
  • Utilize tools like Adobe Creative Cloud and NarQuest to create compelling content and provide swift customer support
  • Support research, proofreading, editing, creating, writing, processing, revising, formatting, providing quality checks, and coordinating the composition of products
Requirements
  • Requires BA/BS and 3+ years of experience or no degree and 9 years of experience
  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required up front
