About the Role

This position is part of the Digital Modernization sector within Leidos, which seeks a highly skilled Network Operations Center (NOC) Analyst to manage the operational environment for the Compartmented Enterprise Services Office (CESO) NOC.

As part of this task order, Leidos will be responsible for managing the commercial cloud migration and disestablishment of legacy systems, fully automating the continuous development & continuous integration environment, fourth estate consolidation, professionalizing services – ITIL/DevSecOps based processes, improving the customer experience with first call resolution, and achieving development of a service catalog for Defense Working Capital Fund (DWCF) Model.

Main Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Perform operational reviews at the start of every shift to ensure that services are running as expected. Work to resolve all known system anomalies and perform root cause analysis as required.

  • Generate process improvements as needed to minimize future occurrences of recurring issues.

    ">
  • Document new processes with a plan to mentor junior members of the team on the latest processes and procedures.

    ">
  • Work both independently and in coordination with other IT disciplines to ensure smooth operations of the customer's multi-user environment, including implementation of STIG requirements, Engineering Implementation Plans (EIPs), industry best practices, and network security measures in accordance with customer and DOD standards.

  • Take ownership of customer issues and communicate regularly on the status of their tickets and issues. Issue resolution includes properly documenting issues along with associated resolution measures.

  • Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.

    ">
  • Review user requests for upgrades or additions to the network to assess impact on network performance and provide advice and guidance on the most practical technical approach to meeting user requirements.

  • Provide 24x7 call-in support in the event of systems outages, along with providing regular progress updates on resolution times.

  • Analyze and troubleshoot IT business systems, identifying faults and isolating root causes.

  • Maintain knowledge of networking protocols, devices, and technologies, including Cisco switches and routers, dynamic routing protocols, TCPDUMP/WireShark, S2S/DMVPN/IPSEC tunnels connection, LAN/WAN network troubleshooting, basic firewall configuration, ISE/TACACS, AWS Cloud services, VLAN configurations, spanning tree protocol, and 802.1x.

Qualifications

Leidos requires a highly qualified candidate with the following qualifications:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience or additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

    ">
  • IAT Level II Baseline Certification (e.g., CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP).

    ">
  • Active DOD TS/SCI level security clearance, with eligibility to obtain and maintain a CI Poly.

    ">
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and fault isolation of IT business systems.

    ">
  • Familiarity with various areas, including but not limited to configuring Cisco switches and routers, dynamic routing protocols, TCPDUMP/WireShark, S2S/DMVPN/IPSEC tunnels connection, LAN/WAN network troubleshooting, basic firewall configuration, ISE/TACACS, AWS Cloud services, VLAN configurations, spanning tree protocol, and 802.1x.

Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is $68,900 - $124,550, reflecting the job's complexity and the company's compensation structure.
