Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and patient Caregiver Direct Support Professional to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing support and care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a group home or clinic setting. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement individualized plans to help our participants achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support participants with developmental goals, such as budgeting, dental hygiene, exercise, and nutrition
  • Encourage and support participants to engage in community activities and hobbies
  • Work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement individualized plans
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination (preferred)
  • Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible
  • Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance (in some positions)
