Job Summary:

As a key member of our team at TREO STAFFING LLC, the Security Guard will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our employees, visitors, and premises. This includes protecting our assets, buildings, and facilities from potential threats, as well as maintaining a secure environment for all individuals on site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify and mitigate potential security risks, including fire hazards, theft, and vandalism.
  • Monitor the conduct of visitors and confront unauthorized individuals as necessary, while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Report any safety or security incidents, including fire hazards or security breaches, to management in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in investigations and maintain records of security-related activities, including incident reports and other relevant documents.
  • Secure and unlock offices and facilities as required, while maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.
  • Control parking and traffic flow, enforcing parking regulations and ensuring a safe and efficient flow of traffic.
  • Maintain established policies and procedures, including quality assurance, safety, environmental, and infection control protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including files and other documentation as required.
  • Consult with and keep management informed of activities, needs, and problems in assigned areas, while providing prompt and courteous assistance to employees and visitors.
  • Respond to calls for assistance in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
  • Attend all required meetings and in-services, while staying up-to-date on relevant policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, while maintaining a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the changing needs of the organization.
Requirements:

  • Ability to read, write, and understand instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
  • Ability to make decisions quickly and in accordance with established protocol.
  • Must have or be willing to obtain first responder and first aid training.
  • Two years' experience in security preferred.
Working Environment & Physical Requirements:

This role requires light to moderate physical effort, with the ability to push, pull, and lift in excess of 50 lbs. May be exposed to elements, including heat, cold, rain, and snow. Please visit our careers page to learn more about our company culture and benefits.
