We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Teacher to join our team at The Goddard School of Riverside, CA. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for coordinating the daily operations of assigned classes, planning and presenting educational and recreational activities, and working directly with children and parents to provide quality customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily operations of assigned classes
  • Plan and present educational and recreational activities
  • Work directly with children and parents to provide quality customer service
Qualifications
  • Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
  • Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred
  • A minimum of 12 College credits in Early Childhood Studies
  • 1-2 years of previous experience preferred
  • Has successfully completed state-required pre-service training
  • Develops relationships and communicates effectively with children, parents, and faculty members
  • Ability to calmly address stressful situations professionally while multi-tasking to ensure smooth school operations
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations
  • Meets background check eligibility
