We are seeking a highly skilled Process and Internal Control Design Managing Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients create process documents and implement controls to enable the design, development, and execution of innovative clean energy financing programs.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Internal control design experience
  • Internal control monitoring and/or testing experience
  • Process design experience
  • Risk assessment experience
  • Ability to quickly understand ongoing processes to develop and implement process improvements
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into tangible documents and/or deliverables
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts
  • Ability to identify and address client needs
  • Advanced proficiency in the full Microsoft Suite, including MS Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills
  • Experience with facilitation and consensus building
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaborate with others
  • Ability to organize, perform, and track multiple tasks accurately in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
  • Experience managing, coaching, and/or mentoring junior team members
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund, green banks, or previous work in sustainability, clean energy, and decarbonization strategy development
  • Strong preference for Financial Services, Financial Management and/or Sustainability experience
  • Process improvement or project management certification (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt, CAPM, PMP, CCMP, or Prosci)
  • Program management and/or Grants Management experience
  • Program design and implementation experience
  • Prior experience performing business development actions
  • Financial services experience, including loan and/or grant programs
  • Prior experience in areas of risk management, internal controls, financial management, program management in federal government or non-profit organizations
  • Familiarity with 2 CFR 200
