Job Overview

Position Summary:
The primary role of the Order Processing Coordinator is to support management in overseeing,
documenting, and facilitating the workflow of assembly schedules based on sales orders while assisting in inventory oversight.


Key Responsibilities:
Order Processing Coordinator:

• Generate all work orders for assembly and sub-assembly in accordance with sales orders and
warehouse inventory plans.

• Monitor and manage work orders to ensure accurate creation, allocation, tracking, and
closure processes are adhered to.

• Develop work assignments for all sales orders, producing necessary paperwork based on
requirements and task assignments.

• Delegate and oversee work assignments to team members based on order demands.

• Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure alignment between physical stock and system data.

• Address system-related issues concerning inventory based on team member task completion.

• Collaborate closely with team leaders and management to ensure stock levels are maintained and work assignments are fulfilled for shipments.

• Provide assistance in the warehouse as necessary to complete daily operations.

• Coordinate with the quality department on supplier returns, ensuring accurate system entries.

• Prepare appointment schedules by 2:30 PM each day for the following day and distribute to
team members.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company standards.

• Perform additional duties as required.

Inventory Oversight:

• Collaborate with both on-site and remote team members to investigate and resolve inventory
issues or discrepancies, as well as research inventory transactions.

• Work with material handlers to verify received supplies for accuracy in quantity and specifications, and perform cycle counts as necessary to eliminate discrepancies.

• Cross-reference information on purchase orders, invoices, and shipping notices with materials
received or issued to ensure order accuracy.

• Perform additional duties as required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
No formal supervisory responsibilities.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Experience in warehouse, distribution, and/or manufacturing environments.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Familiarity with ERP Systems

• Strong oral and written communication abilities

Work Environment:
This position operates within a manufacturing setting. Most work occurs in an office environment, but duties will also require presence in the manufacturing area. The role may involve exposure to high temperatures in summer and low temperatures in winter for limited periods.

Physical and Mental Demands:
This position necessitates a high level of concentration to manage frequent interruptions while adhering to strict deadlines. The role requires the ability to utilize standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers, as well as the capability to communicate and perform tasks in an office setting. The ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and alternate between sitting, standing, or bending is essential. Occasional driving may be required.
