Job Description:

As a key member of our Data Analytics & AI team at Spectrum Ventures, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions for analyzing large datasets.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Data Analytics Solutions Architect. In this role, you will work closely with our data scientists and subject matter experts to develop and implement scalable architectures and data pipelines.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Defining technical framework parameters and ensuring the necessary foundations for the development of applications in the Data Analytics & AI team.
  • Configuring, managing, and operating DevOps environments, including the supervision of Azure resources such as databases, storage, VMs, and Azure Functions.
  • Providing technical advice and support for conducting analytical proof-of-concepts and transitioning them into productive applications.
  • Designing, rapid prototyping, and implementing scalable architectures and data pipelines.
  • Driving performance optimizations and scalability analyses.
  • Working closely with project managers, data scientists, and subject matter experts in agile projects.
  • Coordinating with IT and data protection teams to ensure compliance with data security and privacy policies and the handover of applications into operation.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in architecture, implementation, and operation of data analytics infrastructure, such as relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with MS Azure and current tools such as Spark, MongoDB, and Databricks.
  • Expertise in methods and frameworks of professional software development and software architecture.
  • Knowledge of current data science methods and programming with Python is advantageous.
  • Independent work style, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple topics simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills in German and English.
