Environmental Geologist

This position offers a unique opportunity to join our team as a mid-level environmental geologist or scientist. As a key member of our environmental assessment and remediation team, you will be responsible for supporting various projects, including due diligence work, report preparation, and environmental field work. With an estimated 25% of field work and travel, this role requires a strong ability to work independently and lead field crews when necessary.
Key Responsibilities- Assume a lead and supporting technical role for projects, including report writing, generation of figures, tables, and database management.
- Perform investigations at CERCLA, RCRA, and petroleum sites, collecting soil and water samples using various sampling techniques.
- Plan and coordinate directly with subcontractors and field personnel, assuming supporting roles in proposals and marketing.
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in geology or environmental science, with a Master's degree preferred but not required. A minimum of 5-7 years of directly related professional experience and/or training in environmental assessment and remediation is also required. Additionally, you must possess and maintain a valid driver's license in excellent standing within the company standards.
