Field Service Mechanic

Position Overview:

We are on the lookout for skilled technicians with a focus on customer service, particularly those with experience in automotive, diesel, aircraft, or forklift repair, to join our dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in daily communication with management to establish work schedules.
  • Guide, inspire, and assess the performance of fellow technicians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Maintain effective communication with customers and relay pertinent information to branch management to uphold strong customer relations.
  • Provide accurate estimates for repair costs.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair various makes and models of lift trucks.
  • Conduct operator training sessions.
  • Manage parts ordering and complete necessary documentation.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with prior experience as a Service Technician.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with a solid understanding of electrical systems, hydraulics, and internal combustion engines.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and motivational abilities.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, capable of safely operating lift trucks.
  • Technical degree is preferred.
