Position Overview:
We are currently in search of a US-based Field Service Engineer with a robust background in mechanical and electrical systems, coupled with strong troubleshooting abilities. This role is part of a Global Service Team.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute comprehensive service tasks on innovative robotic assembly and welding systems deployed across North America, including robot calibrations, software updates, and general troubleshooting.
2. Provide customers with clear operational guidance to maximize equipment efficiency.
3. Diagnose and resolve customer issues promptly, especially during machine shutdowns.
4. Collaborate with clients to propose long-term enhancements and coordinate with the Engineering team.
5. Install aftermarket parts/products as upgrades or retrofits for existing clients.
6. Identify spare parts needs and coordinate with the back-office team.
7. Deliver service reports that include value propositions and recommendations for clients.
8. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers at both managerial and operational levels, reinforcing Lincoln Electric's reputation as a premium provider of equipment and automation solutions.
9. Be prepared to travel domestically and internationally up to 75% of the time.
10. Perform additional duties as required based on workload.

Required Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
2. Minimum of 3 years' experience in the installation and servicing of high-value industrial machinery.
3. Strong software, electrical, and mechanical skills; familiarity with robotic welding equipment is essential.
4. Flexibility to work varied hours based on changing schedules.
5. Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and diagnostic skills.
6. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
7. Commitment to travel 75% of the time throughout North America.
8. Proficient communication skills and a strong service-oriented mindset when interacting with customers.
9. Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
10. Valid US driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Technical certifications in an engineering discipline, preferably in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
2. Proficiency in Spanish, French, or any other language is advantageous.

Work Environment:
The role may expose the employee to moving mechanical parts, vibrations, airborne particles, and various machine lubricants and cleaning chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate.

Physical Demands:
The physical requirements for this position include regular communication, frequent standing/walking on cement floors, manual dexterity for handling tools, and the ability to lift, push, or pull objects weighing up to 60 pounds.
