Developmental Disabilities Program Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Developmental Disabilities Program Coordinator to join our team at Advocates. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in promoting the health, well-being, and independence of individuals with developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities:- Demonstrate knowledge of and commitment to agency mission and values.
- Promote the mission and values of Advocates through effective leadership and communication.
- Maintain accurate and complete records, reports, and data necessary to meet the requirements of Advocates and other certifying or regulatory agencies.
- Assist and ensure program and consumer funds are handled according to Advocates' policies and procedures.
- Maintain agency standards for confidentiality.
- Represent Advocates and the individuals supported in a positive and professional manner at all times.
- Demonstrate effective use of analytical skills, past experience, and logic in order to render sound and objective decisions.
- Maintain day-to-day operations in Manager's absence.
- Promote teamwork; practice open communication and respect diversity.
- Assist in training staff to develop skills required for professional growth.
- Complete required documentation in a timely and professional manner.
- Complete required trainings and maintain certifications.
- Ensure the people's rights, privacy, and confidentiality are respected and serve as the program Human Rights Officer.
- Promote the health and well-being of the individuals supported through ensuring quality healthcare and opportunities for healthy lifestyles and choices.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Two years' experience in developmental disabilities/behavioral health area preferred.
- Valid driver's license along with an acceptable driving status.
- Use of a reliable vehicle, which seats two passengers.
