Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and fulfill eyeglass prescriptions while fitting lenses and frames
  • Assess prescriptions according to patients' visual requirements
  • Assist clients in selecting appropriate lenses, coatings, and frames
  • Measure and evaluate patients' eye dimensions and optical centers
  • Prepare work orders for lens fabrication and eyeglass production
  • Check and adjust eyewear to ensure a proper fit
  • Provide guidance on the use and maintenance of eyewear
  • Manage sales transactions and process payments
  • Support inventory management tasks
  • Document optical charges and maintain patient records
  • Ensure the Optical Shop is clean and organized
  • Assist with contact lens sales and fittings as necessary
Requirements:
