We are seeking a Community Engagement Coordinator (Program and Outreach Director) to join our team.



Job Summary

The Community Engagement Coordinator is responsible for developing, leading, and overseeing a resident-centered activities and outreach program that promotes and integrates the Phoenix Senior Living philosophy. This includes incorporating wellness in all aspects of the seniors' lives we serve. Responsibilities include assisting in recruiting, hiring, and training the Assistant Program and Outreach Director.



Key Responsibilities


  • Participate in Personalized Service Plans (PSP)
  • Refer to Resident Profiles and addendums for every new resident
  • Maintain the PSL Activity & Program Guidebook, tracking daily resident interest and participation
  • Use resident demographic profiles to organize small groups or clubs addressing similar needs and preferences
  • Understand and recognize resident changes in condition, taking appropriate action
  • Assist residents to and from activity rooms when necessary
  • Facilitate monthly resident Council and schedule communications
  • Maintain an inventory of activity and programming supplies, games, programs, and crafts


Requirements

Educational background in Business Administration, Human Resources Administration, Gerontology, or related fields preferred.


1-3 years of experience in senior living/skilled nursing activity and event planning, including moderate to large event planning responsibilities outside the senior living industry.


Demonstrated leadership capabilities and knowledge/experience in Assisted Living industry and Dementia care preferred.



Estimated Salary Range

$65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
