As a Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in our team, working closely with our Physical Therapists to provide comprehensive care to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Physical Therapists in providing physical therapy services to clients in their homes
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each client
  • Implement interventions and provide education to clients and their families to promote optimal physical function and well-being
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Document client progress and communicate with Physical Therapists and other team members as needed

Requirements:

  • Current licensure or certification in the state of VA
  • Graduation from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association
  • At least one year's work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist
  • Other activities as requested
