About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Medical Office Assistant to join our team at On the Mend Occupational Medicine. As a Medical Office Assistant - Occupational Medicine, you will play a critical role in providing administrative support in a medical setting.

The estimated salary for this position is $48,000 - $58,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to medical providers, including triaging patients and assisting with trauma treatment.
  • Conduct physical examinations, perform tests, and administer vaccines.
  • Collect and process urine for drug testing, and maintain accurate records and paperwork.
  • Order medications and supplies, and calibrate equipment as needed.
  • Ensure cleanliness of examination rooms and maintain refrigerator temperatures.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting the front desk with answering phones and registering patients.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
