Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team at our landfill facility. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising a team of employees, ensuring the efficient operation of the landfill, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of employees, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful operation of the landfill.
  • Develop and implement operational plans to achieve safety, customer experience, and efficiency goals.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure equipment is in working order and compliant with safety standards.
  • Lead safety and accident prevention programs to prevent injuries and ensure a safe work environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, resolving issues and improving the overall customer experience.
  • Establish productivity goals, manage labor hours, and disposal expenses to achieve budgeted goals.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of lead or supervisory experience in a related field.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to direct large staff and build high-performance teams.
  • Proven problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • State certification as required by regulation.
