Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor - Landfill to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising a team of lead operators, operators, and general laborers to ensure the efficient operation of our landfill.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the landfill team to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operating standards.
  • Develop and implement tactical initiatives to drive functional excellence and budget achievement.
  • Ensure adherence to all accident prevention programs and lead operations to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operating standards.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance department to ensure all equipment remains in working order and in compliance with safety standards.
  • Engage assigned employees in active participation to instill a culture of safety and drive employee engagement.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of lead or supervisory experience.
  • State certification as required by regulation.
  • Ability to direct large staff and demonstrate strong leadership skills.
  • Proven problem-solving, analytical, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to build and work with teams.
