Senior Financial Management Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Management professional to join our team at Sikich. As a key member of our financial services team, you will be responsible for providing expert financial management services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize, analyze, and interpret large volumes of financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Troubleshoot complex financial issues and provide short-term and long-term solutions.
  • Review and evaluate financial reporting and accounting transaction processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Apply accounting standards to financial transactions and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Oversee and review work performed by other staff members to ensure high-quality results.
  • Develop and sustain strong relationships with client personnel and identify opportunities to provide additional services.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field with a minimum of 24 hours in accounting coursework.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate required.
  • Advanced degree highly desired.
  • A minimum of four years' experience performing financial management services for federal entities, focusing on federal financial reporting and/or auditing.
  • Experience with or knowledge in applying regulations and standards for financial reporting.
  • Experience in preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements or key line items of financial statements preferred.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with groups such as clients, peers, and management.
  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain a U.S. federal security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
