Job Description

The Data Entry Clerk is a key member of our team, responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining accurate data in our databases and systems. This role involves inputting large volumes of information, verifying the accuracy of data, and ensuring timely processing. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

Accurately input data into our databases, spreadsheets, and systems
Verify the accuracy and completeness of data before entry
Review and correct any discrepancies in the data or source documents
Maintain up-to-date records of customer information, product data, and transactions
Organize and maintain filing systems, both digital and physical
Prepare reports based on entered data and provide administrative support to other departments
Ensure data confidentiality and follow company policies regarding information security
Communicate with other departments to obtain and clarify information for accurate data entry
Perform routine data audits and quality control checks
Assist with other administrative tasks as required

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in data entry or administrative roles is preferred but not required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and data entry software
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage large volumes of data while maintaining precision
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Good communication skills and a team-player mindset
