Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced IT Asset Management Analyst to join our team at Insight Global. This role is pivotal in overseeing the implementation, documentation, and management of our asset and configuration management initiatives.

Location: Phoenix AZ, or Westerville OH - ONSITE (1 remote day)

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in IT asset management methodologies and best practices.
  • Proficient in IT service management (ITSM) tools, particularly ServiceNow, with at least 3 years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of the ITIL process framework and its best practices, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with configuration management processes, including CMDB, along with exceptional documentation and process development capabilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key liaison between IT and various business units to identify and resolve asset management process challenges.
  • Establish and refine hardware and software lifecycle processes from acquisition through to disposal.
  • Monitor lifecycle processes to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with standards.
  • Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies for both hardware and software assets.
  • Maintain accurate and current inventory records.
  • Document and uphold process standards and workflows for asset and configuration management.
  • Align all processes with industry best practices and organizational objectives.
  • Implement and revise control processes to ensure adherence to organizational policies.
  • Conduct regular audits to confirm compliance with established controls.
  • Ensure that governance and operational frameworks are adhered to within asset and configuration management.
  • Develop and enforce policies to uphold process integrity and compliance.
  • Collect and manage control evidence for all audit and control activities.
  • Provide training and support to stakeholders regarding asset and configuration management processes.
  • Create training materials and facilitate workshops as necessary.
  • Generate analytical reports to offer insights into asset and configuration management performance.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in troubleshooting any issues that arise.
  • Monitor data quality and assist in regular audits to ensure compliance with policies.
