We are seeking an experienced IT Asset Management Analyst to support a significant financial client. This role involves the implementation, documentation, and oversight of the asset and configuration management program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key liaison between IT and various business units to enhance asset management processes.
  • Establish and refine hardware and software lifecycle processes from acquisition through to disposal.
  • Monitor lifecycle processes to ensure they are efficient and compliant with established standards.
  • Develop and execute inventory management strategies for both hardware and software assets.
  • Maintain accurate and current inventory records.
  • Create, document, and uphold process standards and workflows for asset and configuration management.
  • Align all processes with industry best practices and organizational objectives.
  • Implement and revise control processes to ensure adherence to organizational policies.
  • Conduct regular audits to confirm compliance with established controls.
  • Ensure governance and operational frameworks are adhered to within asset and configuration management.
  • Formulate and enforce policies to uphold process integrity and compliance.
  • Collect and store control evidence for all audit and control activities.
  • Provide training and support to stakeholders regarding asset and configuration management processes.
  • Develop training materials and facilitate workshops as necessary.
  • Generate reports and analytics to deliver insights into asset and configuration management performance.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist in troubleshooting issues.
  • Monitor data quality and assist in regular audits to ensure compliance with policies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in IT asset management processes and best practices.
  • Proficient in IT service management (ITSM) tools, particularly ServiceNow.
  • Strong understanding of the ITIL process framework and best practices.
  • Knowledge of configuration management processes, including CMDB.
  • Exceptional documentation and process development skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
