Job Overview

As a Senior Electrical Project Manager at Bates Electric, you will oversee and manage all electrical aspects of projects to profitable completion. Your responsibilities will include calling on General Contractors for new projects, generating sales from General Contractors, developing relationships with clients, and gaining repeat client business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all electrical aspects of projects to profitable completion

Additionally, you will use Accubid to estimate and generate new proposals on commercial construction projects, collaborate with Bates estimating staff to generate new proposals, schedule manpower including subcontractors for proper and timely installation of respective scope, assure quality workmanship, and close projects out in good order.

Project Management

You will be responsible for familiarizing yourself with construction schedules, ensuring the end date is clear to the job super, ensuring Bates is on schedule to meet the GC milestones and end date, visiting jobsites to ensure all staff, materials, and equipment are in-line with current needs, training Job Supers to Bates standards, assisting Job Supers in estimating labor hours remaining to complete projects, helping Job Supers bring jobs in within budget, coordinating and handling General Contractor's needs, monitoring work in-place as project progresses, evaluating and preparing Change Orders as required, and coordinating with Purchasing department on job setup and submittals.
