Job Summary:

As an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with AmeriPro EMS LLC, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care in emergency and non-emergency situations. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all state EMS rules and regulations, maintaining ambulance equipment and vehicles, and adhering to company policies and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to emergency calls and provide patient care according to company protocols and medical director-approved standing orders.
Maintain ambulance equipment and vehicles, ensuring they are clean and in proper working condition.
Prepare and complete reports, including Patient Care Reports (PCR), billing, exposure reports, incident reports, and daily, weekly, and monthly unit check-offs.
Ensure unit and crew members adhere to AmeriPro EMS policies, procedures, guidelines, directives, and standards.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
State-specific Emergency Medical Technician certification/licensure in good standing/current NREMT certification if applicable by state law.
Current BLS certification.
Valid state-specific driver's license.
Successful completion of a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
Strong people skills and proven ability to collaborate within a team.
Proficient verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to comprehend and execute verbal and written instructions in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working as an EMT or in a similar medical role.
Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) and/or International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) training.
FEMA IS certs: (IS:100; IS:200; IS:800; IS:900)

Working Environment:

AmeriPro EMS LLC is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires employees to be adaptable and able to work in a variety of situations. Employees may be exposed to inclement weather, potential hazardous conditions, psychological stressors, diseases, and other illnesses. Regular attendance at work and mandatory meetings is required. The employee will be occasionally required to attend meetings, some of which may take place outside of regular working hours.
