Job Title: Advanced Emergency Medical Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Advanced Emergency Medical Technician to join our team at AmeriPro EMS. As an AEMT, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in emergency and non-emergency situations.

Job Summary:

The Advanced Emergency Medical Technician will be responsible for responding to emergency calls, providing patient care, and operating medical equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of emergency medical procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide patient care in accordance with company protocols and medical director-approved standing orders.
  • Operate medical equipment, including defibrillators, ventilators, and cardiac monitors.
  • Assess patient conditions and provide appropriate care, including administering medications and performing procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including patient care reports and billing information.
Requirements:
  • State-specific Advanced Emergency Medical Technician certification or licensure in good standing.
  • Current CPR certification and valid state driver's license.
  • Successful completion of a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift and move patients, as well as operate medical equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation.
