Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Saint Alphonsus Health System. As a critical care specialist, you will be responsible for providing general and emergency respiratory therapy procedures to patients as directed by physicians and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and manage airway and ventilator care for patients of all ages
  • Perform arterial line insertions, ABG sticks, and conduct ABG analysis and interpretation
  • Develop and implement respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Act as a preceptor to support and develop new and existing respiratory therapy staff
Requirements:
  • License to practice respiratory care in the state of Idaho or Oregon
  • Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
