Job Summary

At Saint Alphonsus Health System, we are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care. As an integral member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering respiratory therapy procedures to patients of all ages. Your expertise will include respiratory assessment, airway and ventilator management, and pulmonary diagnostics. Additionally, you will act as a preceptor, supporting the development of new and existing RT colleagues.

Responsibilities

* Provide general and emergency respiratory therapy procedures to patients of all ages
* Conduct respiratory assessments, airway and ventilator management, and pulmonary diagnostics
* Act as a preceptor, supporting the development of new and existing RT colleagues
* Modify care as necessary based on changes in patient clinical condition

Requirements

* License to practice respiratory care from the Oregon Board of Medicine
* Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
* Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network
* Advanced Cardiac Life Support for HealthCare Provider (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required or obtained within six months of hire
* Pediatric Advanced Life Support for HealthCare Provider (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required or obtained within six months of hire
