Job Title: Clinical Research Coordinator

At the Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Clinical Research Coordinator to join our team. As a Clinical Research Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of clinical research studies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Human Subject Protection: Ensure the protection of human subjects by determining subject eligibility, conducting informed consent processes, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Study Coordination: Coordinate and document study activities, including data entry, test article accountability, and subject visit requirements.
  • Data Integrity: Maintain the integrity of study data by ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Secondary Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple projects and tasks as assigned by leadership.
  • Provide mentorship and preceptorship as needed.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
  • CRC certification through ACRP or SOCRA within two years of hire.
  • Valid Minnesota RN license (for some positions).
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum two years of clinical experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Outlook, and electronic medical record systems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain data integrity.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous cardiovascular and/or research experience.
  • Certified Clinical Research Coordinator/Professional (CCRC or CCRP) certification.
  • NIHSS Certification.
Work Environment:

This position requires working in an office setting, as well as in patient care areas such as clinics and hospitals.
