Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Coordinator to join our team at the University of Minnesota. As a Research Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the research team by coordinating projects, managing data, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate research projects across the team, including deadline tracking, goal setting, and documenting progress.
  • Facilitate communication among researchers, stakeholders, and regulatory organizations, including meeting planning, agenda setting, and documenting minutes.
  • Support the development of grant applications, including drafting documents, timelines, and figures.
  • Manage and maintain research protocols, policies, and standard operating procedures.
  • Coordinate with PIs and other researchers on all activities related to the initiation of new funded and unfunded studies.
  • Assist in data management, including data cleaning, analysis, and visualization.
  • Collaborate with PIs, researchers, and community stakeholders to meet research milestones.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience, or advanced degree and 3 years of experience, or a combination of related education and work experience to equal 9 years.
  • Demonstrated skill in study coordination, project management, or administrative work.
  • Strong organizational and creative problem-solving skills, experience managing multiple tasks and project elements with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Prior research experience, including working on observational, health services, or data extraction/chart review studies.
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices, human subject protection, and federal regulations related to clinical research.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and virtual meeting platforms.
