HHRI is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Coordinator to support the research of Dr. Gavin Bart at Hennepin Healthcare.

Job Summary:

The Research Coordinator will provide comprehensive study coordination, facilitate project development, and contribute to successful project execution. This position may involve multiple protocols or projects, requiring the ability to work independently and establish priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit and interview participants, obtain informed consent, and schedule study visits.
  • Administer and score psychological, intellectual, and medical assessments and tests as required by the protocol or project.
  • Coordinate daily activities associated with administering sponsored research projects, including organizing meetings and conference calls.
  • Document and maintain detailed records and research data files, including data entry and data cleaning.
  • Compile and maintain regulatory documents, track study supplies, and provide backup coverage for other staff as needed.
Requirements:
  • Baccalaureate degree and 2-3 years of experience in a related area and/or in research.
  • Working knowledge of databases, spreadsheets, and word processing applications.
  • Effective written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, be organized, and establish priorities.
