As a new nurse, you will play a vital role in assessing patients, identifying needs, and creating care plans. You will evaluate patient responses for safety and work collaboratively with colleagues to improve healthcare quality.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patient health conditions using clinical reasoning and identify, prioritize, and address needs of patients and families.
- Develop care plans to improve health outcomes and regularly evaluate nursing practices to improve healthcare quality.
- Create a caring environment and build connections with patients and families.
- Manage emotional and physical pain to promote relief, healing, and reduce suffering.
- Acknowledge and respect the unique differences of patients and families, incorporating these into customized care plans.
- Advocate for patient privacy and rights and represent their interests and values effectively to create a meaningful plan.
- Promote learning among patients, families, nursing staff, and the wider community.
- Completed a program from a recognized institution or at least 2 years of related professional experience.
- Major in Nursing.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification.
