About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Customer Service Advisor to join our team at HM Revenue and Customs. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, answering their queries, and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service via phone, email, and web chat, ensuring that customers receive a positive experience and are satisfied with the service they receive.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a fair and efficient manner, using your excellent communication skills to build trust and rapport with customers.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, sharing knowledge and expertise to ensure that customers receive the best possible service.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations.
  • Work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of our customers and the business.
