Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator to join our team at North Georgia EMC. The successful candidate will be responsible for the reliability, security, and maintenance of our networking hardware and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, plan, and implement IT infrastructure projects to ensure seamless network operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with technological advancements and maintain expertise in network equipment design and implementation.
  • Ensure cooperative computing resources are operational and available 24/7.
  • Support network, telecommunications, and mission-critical systems, including switches, routers, firewalls, and security cameras.
  • Provide on-call support on a rotating basis and coordinate software license tracking and digital certificate maintenance.
  • Participate in the creation, maintenance, and testing of disaster recovery and incident response plans.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate and a two-year Technical Degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of four years of practical field experience with expertise in networking equipment configuration.
  • Preferred qualifications include CCNA, Network+, Python scripting, Cisco Routing and Switching, and PaloAlto Experience.
