Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Project Architect to join our team in Cleveland or Columbus, OH. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and growing our traditional healthcare work in Central and Northeast Ohio, as well as supporting our convenient care program in the project coordinator capacity.
Key Responsibilities- Communicate regularly with clients, including weekly calls and status reports.
- Lead weekly internal project meetings with the MESC engineering staff.
- Oversee the design of projects through all phases, providing direction to the team and ensuring compliance with program, client expectations, and regulations.
- Collaborate with Program Managers and the Director of Healthcare.
- Review technical drawings prior to QA/QC review and submittal, ensuring adherence to QA/QC and company standards.
- Mentor and direct less experienced staff in project completion.
- Conduct after-action meetings and lessons learned with the project team.
- Attend site visits, scoping walks, and inspections during construction.
- Coordinate with internal disciplines, outside consultants, contractors, and public entities.
- Participate in business development activities, such as responses to RFPs and presentations.
- Collaborate with the Program Manager on schedule, resources, and billing status.
- Registered Architect with a Bachelor of Architecture or Master's degree in Architecture.
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in architectural design with a focus on Healthcare projects.
- Experience in architectural design and documentation, with a strong understanding of building code and applicable healthcare standards.
- Demonstrated experience working directly with clients and building relationships.
- Medical planning and design experience is preferred.
- Proficient in various software, including Revit, AutoCad, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Possess strong communication skills, professional writing, and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Experience with all phases of the project, from planning to construction administration and close-out.
