Salary & BenefitsThe hourly range for this position is $19.25 - $27.00 per hour, with opportunities for career growth and professional development. Job DescriptionThis Medical Assistant role will support the General Surgery Clinic, while also being cross-trained to other specialty areas. You will be accountable for performing duties that assist in care for clinic patients, following established standards, practices, and competency. Your primary responsibility will be to provide direct patient care, working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality care.
Requirements & Qualifications- Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with an Associate's degree or diploma required upon hire.
- Six or more years in a healthcare setting and/or Medical Assisting.
- BASIC Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Licensure through one of the following: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA).
